Every plan lets you download a set number of pages each month. Previews are always free.
Questions
Do I have to draw my handwriting?
No. You can start straight away with a ready-made handwriting pen. Teaching it your own letters takes about five minutes and makes the pages look like you.
Does it do maths symbols?
Yes. Roots, powers, subscripts, Greek letters, calculus and set symbols all work. There's a tap grid of A-level symbols, and you can type shortcuts like 27^1/3 or \pi.
Is my handwriting private?
Yes. It's saved on your device, or in your own account if you sign in. Only you can see it.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser, and you can draw your letters with your finger.
How many pages can I make?
Previews are unlimited on every plan. Downloads are counted per page: 10 a month free, then 200, 800 or 5,000 a month depending on your plan. Your count resets on the 1st of each month.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, in two clicks. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Is it OK to hand in pages made with Efficio Notes?
That depends on your school, college or exam board. Some ask for work to be physically handwritten. Check their rules first. You're responsible for how you use what you make.
Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Efficio Notes ("we", "us"). By using Efficio Notes you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. What Efficio Notes does
Efficio Notes turns text you type, dictate or record into images that look handwritten, and turns photos into PDFs. It runs mostly in your browser.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a paid plan.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at efficioweb@outlook.com if you think someone else has used it.
4. Your content
The text, handwriting samples, recordings, photos and pages you create are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store and process them so Efficio Notes works for you. We don't sell your content or use it to train AI models.
Don't use Efficio Notes to create anything illegal, to copy someone else's handwriting without their permission, or to forge signatures or official documents.
5. Academic honesty
Some schools, colleges and exam boards require work to be physically handwritten. It's your responsibility to follow their rules. We're not responsible for consequences of submitting pages made with Efficio Notes.
6. Plans, payments and renewals
- Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Prices include VAT where it applies.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We'll remind you before a yearly plan renews.
- Download limits reset on the 1st of each month. Unused pages don't roll over.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
7. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time from your account. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
Under UK law you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service. When you subscribe, you ask us to start straight away and agree that you lose that right once you've downloaded pages. If you cancel within 14 days without downloading anything, we'll refund you in full. This doesn't affect your other legal rights.
8. Free plan and changes to the service
We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, you can cancel and get a pro-rata refund for the unused time.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Efficio Notes and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after warning you where reasonable.
10. Liability
We work hard to keep Efficio Notes running well, but it's provided "as is". We aren't liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
11. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

Efficio Notes is the data controller for your personal data. Contact: efficioweb@outlook.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name.
- What you create: your handwriting samples, notes, transcripts and settings. Without an account these stay in your browser. With an account they're stored so you can use them on other devices.
- Payments: your plan and billing status. Card details go straight to our payment provider and never reach us.
- Usage: how many pages you've downloaded this month, so plan limits work.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, show you ads, or use your handwriting or notes to train AI models. Photos you scan stay on your device and aren't uploaded.
Voice and dictation
With the Fast engine, your browser (Chrome or Edge) sends audio to Google's speech service to turn it into text. With the On-device engine, audio never leaves your device.
Who helps us run Efficio Notes
- Google Firebase, for sign-in and storing account data (stored in London, UK).
- Cloudflare, for hosting the website.
- Our payment provider, for processing payments.
Why we use your data (legal basis)
To provide the service you've asked for (contract), to meet legal duties such as keeping tax records (legal obligation), and to keep Efficio Notes secure (legitimate interests).
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Payment records are kept for 6 years because UK tax law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and storage
We only use your browser's storage to save your work and settings, and to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Train your handwriting
Write over the faint guide in your own style, then press Save or Enter. Letters matter most. Joined-up and Maths make it look even more like you.
